Directions to the Shabbat Services of Temple Sholom – Temple Sholom holds its Shabbat Services every Friday Night at 8:00 pm at The Jewish Center of Oak Hills located at 5035 Cloverdale Boulevard, Bayside, New York. The Synagogue is accessible from Northern Boulevard as well as the Springfield Boulevard exit from the LIE. From Temple Sholom office, take Cross Island North, Take RT-25A/Northern Blvd., Exit 31W, turn left onto 233rd Street and turn slight left onto Cloverdale Blvd.
A Pre Kabbalat Shabbat Meditation will be held before the 4th Friday Shabbat service. They will be led by Jack Zaffos in the conference room opposite the sanctuary. These sessions will consist of guided meditations on the liturgy, Torah Portion or other intentions (Kavanot) appropriate to the Jewish Calendar. All are welcome.
Program is appropriate for beginning and experienced meditators.
